Jared Jordan’s passion for photography started while still a student at the University of South Carolina.  His curiosity in the craft led him to take photography courses which were outside of his major.  It was not long before Jared and his professors realized he had a true talent for the art. 

After graduation in 2003, Jared Jordan began apprenticing with Travis Bell Photography.  Travis Bell is a well know photographer in the area who has been shooting weddings for nearly 20 years.  He taught Jared his unique style of capturing the “whole story” of a wedding by using a photojournalist approach. 

After two years of apprenticing for Travis Bell, Jared moved on to work for Carolina Sports Photography in Camden, SC.  There Jared learned how to uniquely and quickly pose groups and also how to shoot live action sports shots.  This enabled Jared to be faster on his feet in order to capture the very special moments you don’t want missed at your wedding.  During his time at Carolina Sports, Jared continued to shoot weddings on his own, starting up his own business, Jared Jordan Photography.
