I began my career as a photographer when I apprenticed under Travis Bell in 2003 and 2004. He taught me the true photojournalistic approach to shooting weddings, which means I was taught not to interfere with a moment. It is my job to sit back and capture your special day as it unfolds in front of me. I strive to capture your moments as they happen naturally with the flow of your wedding. This approach allows me to show the true story of your wedding as it happens that day.
I will shoot formal shots, however I like to limit those shots to a 20 to 30 minute session after the wedding ceremony. This will be the only time during your wedding when I will direct anyone in front of the camera.
